Why The Alpinus

The Alpinus patient lift is designed to streamline the standing process. When used with a compatible loop-style sit-to-stand sling, its integrated actuator provides powered assistance to help the user stand. A caregiver can initiate this function simply by pressing the 'raise' button on the "Biten Patent Handle", offering support tailored to the user's needs, such as when moderate help is required to begin standing.

To enhance comfort and accessibility, the unit is equipped with an adjustable, padded handlebar that telescopes to various widths. This design not only makes it simpler to apply the sling but also ensures the device can comfortably accommodate patients of different sizes.

For greater mobility, the Alpinus features a detachable footplate, allowing for patient ambulation. It also includes practical options like an oxygen tank holder and an IV pole attachment, which consolidate equipment and can eliminate the need for an additional caregiver to manage these items separately.

Maneuverability in tight spaces is another key benefit. The expandable base allows for easy navigation around commodes, toilets, or chairs. By holding the 'open' or 'close' button on the control pendant, a caregiver can adjust the base width for closer, more convenient access to the patient.
